Remote and Hybrid Work Structures; Should They Survive Beyond COVID-19

Popular press and journalistic research alone cannot resolve the question above. It requiresempirical answers from research crafted after understanding the human and operational issues inrunning post-COVID-19 organizations. In 2019, when COVID-19 came, organizations had noalternative but to introduce remote and hybrid work structures to survive. Either they did it orclosed down and went out of business. Fast forward to 2022, when COVID-19 eased, and some organisations felt remote and hybrid work structures were necessities that were limited to COVID-19 and should end with it. Some others felt that it was a lesson of what was possible in the design of effective work structure and must be given a chance. These are the divide lines in the debate on post-COVID-19 work structure.
